Holiday POP and Decor Rollout Guide November 8 – December 26, 2016

It’s time to fill our cafes with holiday décor and messages to drive our gift card and baked goods sales while reminding people about our Catering options during this busy holiday season. The following outlines additional merchandising elements that will help add to your holiday sales.

Objectives

• Drive Large Cake Sales – For the eighth year we will offer guests a $5 Bonus Card, valid from January 1-31, 2017, with the purchase of a Large Cinnamon Creme Cake. For the first time, we are also offering guests a $5 Bonus Card with every purchase of the new Chocolate Cinnamon Coffee Cake and Pumpkin Cinnamon Coffee Cake. The $5 Bonus Card will be promoted in the cafes through tabletop signage and on the digital promo boards. One out of every two Creme Cakes on display will be wrapped in festive red cellophane to bring additional bursts of holiday color to our displays.
   
• Drive Gift Card Sales – We will also offer an incentive to drive incremental gift card sales this holiday season.
  With every $25 in gift cards purchased, guests will receive a $5 Bonus Card valid from January 1-31, 2017. The $5 Bonus Card will be promoted on the gift card displays, through tabletop signage and on the digital promo boards.
   
• Drive Baked Good Sales – As always, our famous treats will be displayed throughout the cafes with festive holiday packaging and messaging. We are once again promoting baked goods trays – Cookie Bites and Bar Bites. We are also introducing two new coffee cakes, Chocolate Cinnamon and Pumpkin Cinnamon, to give our guests more options for freshly baked goodness.

Holiday POP Overview
The cafes will be flooded with holiday-colored elements that include window posters, table number circles, gift card headers and a banner. We will once again decorate the cafes with 9’ lengths of pine garland and Baker Boy ornaments; feel free to also display your holiday wreaths or 2’ tree if you kept them from prior years. No other décor elements are approved for display. Please allow plenty of time to assemble and decorate the night of November 7th.

  • Any unused bonus cards must be returned to the Home Office at the end of P12.
